About My Story
Photography came to me at the right moment in my life. I felt as if I had hit a very low point and was struggling trying to find "me". I was a stay-at-home mother of 3 at the time and devoted every hour of every day into my family. When things hit hard financially, I was trying to stay afloat selling Tutu's for little girls at local boutiques. I picked up my first digital camera to try and capture the tutu's I would be making and selling; let’s just say that my photos received more attention than my actual tutu's! As costumers began to question the "photographer", I offered to help a few friends out with some family sessions, and it didn't take long for me to want to be anywhere else. I realized that all my hard struggles at home went away when I was able to capture others happiness. At that moment behind the lens, everything disappeared. I was freezing beautiful moments in time for others. Over ten years later and I still thrive on bringing the ‘real’ out of every person I photograph. I love to bring a laid-back vibe to every session and for each person or family to leave feeling as if I captured who they really are. Photography isn’t a job to me, its my passion.
